The Problem

The industry's broken math.
Artists pay to play. Venues take. Labels watch.

The Fix

Nonprofit venue. Free stage. No strings.

StageFound runs as a 501(c)(3). Artists don't pay to perform — and don't get paid by us. All revenue from tickets and concessions goes to staff, security, and keeping the lights on. We exist to give emerging artists their first real audience, not their first bill.

HOW IT WORKS

A stage built for artists who need one.

Free Stage Access

No rental fee. No cover charge to the artists. Apply with your set — get booked on merit, not budget.

Curated Showcases

4-6 acts per night, curated for style and flow. Each show is a produced event, not an open mic.

Label Eyes On

We build relationships with scouts, A&R, and independent labels. Your best set gets seen by the right people.

Revenue for Operations

Tickets and bar proceeds fund staff, security, and venue upkeep. Artists don't subsidize the room — fans do.

Grant-Funded Rent

Active grant writing effort covers the venue's biggest cost — rent and insurance — so the model actually works.

Community, Not Competition

Artists support each other's sets. Fans come for the vibe. This is a scene, not a cattle call.

THE MODEL

How StageFound works.

01

Apply

Submit your set — genre, length, vibe. Our curation team reviews every application.

02

Get Booked

Selected artists are booked into a curated showcase. Zero cost to perform. You show up and play.

03

Build Your Crowd

Fans buy tickets. Concessions run. The room fills. Your fans become your community.

04

Get Discovered

Labels and scouts attend showcases. A breakout set leads to a signing. That's the goal.

GRANTS COVER THE VENUE

Live Music Society. Levitt Foundation. NEA. BMI Foundation. 92+ active grants for music nonprofits. We pursue all of them so artist programming never stops.

Every legend started on a stage nobody remembers.

We exist to make that stage exist — and to make sure someone in the room is paying attention.

StageFound. A stage for the next wave.
